What should I include so you can judge quickly?

Your product type, how many microphones and how they are placed, the main noise sources, and the speech engine you use today. With those four we can usually say whether preprocessing is the right fix.

Do we have to send you our recordings?

No. If you have field recordings we start there; if you cannot share data, we design the test conditions around your product environment together.
